Here’s how it works…Each week (usually Tuesday), I’ll try to feature a band or artist that both parents and children can enjoy. Sometimes it will be kids’ music that won’t make you cringe; other times it will be adult stuff that won’t make you want to cover the kids’ ears.

Frances England is a children’s indie/folk/pop musician from San Francisco. My daughter sometimes falls asleep to the feel-good songs on her 2010 album Mind of My Own. I also put this album on a lot when she was a baby and the song Big Heart would bring me to tears.
